What would happen if my wedding band cancelled on us?
Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, especially when you're counting on a live band to make your wedding reception extra special! At Henderson Management, we're often asked 'what if my wedding band cancels?' and we're here to help you.
It's pretty uncommon for your wedding entertainment to cancel and if it did happen, they'd need to have a good reason to do so (such as sickness or a serious emergency).
Will I get a replacement?
It's often difficult to find a replacement band on short notice on your own, which is frustrating when you were already organised in booking your wedding entertainment in good time. Booking through a reputable agency such as ourselves won't necessarily guarantee that you'll get a replacement band however it is a lot more likely that we'll be able to help you find one as we have a large catalogue of acts and it's always in our best interest to help our customers find the perfect act for their wedding. Booking through a band directly gives you less options when finding a replacement.

When booking a live band (or any entertainment for that matter), always make sure you're booking a professional act through a reputable agency. The last thing anyone would want at their wedding would be an act not turning up or not giving a good enough performance for the guests. Booking through an experienced agency like Henderson Management will ensure a band who are not only professional but reliable too!
What if a band member were to get sick?
A lot of the live bands we work with have what we call 'deputies' available to step in if necessary, which are essentially backup band members. This isn't the case for all bands but most professional and creditable acts will have you covered if a member is feeling unwell, depending on the role of the band member who can't make it of course.

Booking a wedding band through us means it's highly unlikely that your entertainment would cancel on you. The majority of acts we work with do this for a living, not only are they extremely reliable and organised but it's also in their greatest interest to 'wow' their audience no matter the occasion.
